Tadge Dryja is a Bitcoin researcher and co-inventor of the Lightning Network, which he co-designed with Joseph Poon in the 2015 Lightning Network whitepaper. He also invented Utreexo, a novel approach to Bitcoin's UTXO set that would dramatically reduce node storage requirements. Dryja has been a research scientist at MIT Digital Currency Initiative.
