Peter Todd is a Canadian cryptographer and Bitcoin Core developer who has contributed to Bitcoin's protocol development since the early days. He is known for his work on replace-by-fee (RBF) transactions, anti-DoS measures, and cryptographic research. Todd is also a vocal advocate for Bitcoin privacy and security, and has done work on OpenTimestamps, a Bitcoin-based timestamping protocol.
